Let me explain what this is all about, or rather what it is not about...
This page is not an official contest, nor will it ever be, so dont expect to win anything other than a sense of
superiority. No prizes will be given out by me because I am cheap.
Now what this really is all about...
This page exists for the sole purpose of the benifit of those who want to improve in UIL number sense over the summer.
Tests are posted, the contestants take them and then submit their scores to me. I keep a leaderboard... its really simple.
I believe that disscussions about the weekly tests will take place on the board at
www.math-magic.com or the texasmath forum. Check it out. Its all good stuff.
I, myself will take the tests. I hope that I can keep up with you guys. PLEASE DO NOT CHEAT YOURSELVES... THE BEST OF
THE BEST WILL BE COMPETING, AND IF YOU SUBMIT FALLACIOUS SCORES HERE AND SCORE A 50 AT DISTRICT, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR
WIDE SCALE CHASTISEMENT FROM THE COMMUNITY. so lets keep it somewhat frank here,
Heres how it works:
Once I key you into the database, tests will be posted every Saturday.
Take the 10 minute test, e-mail me your results, and I'll post the results on the leaderboard.
